Administrators of several private hospitals convened and decided to form an association of private hospitals within Kerala which will be a platform to come together; discuss and address the problems faced by the healthcare industry. Thus Kerala Private Hospital Association was born on the 24th August 1997 accepting the bylaws and setting “Aswini Hospital, Thrissur” as the Headquaters.
To promote and hospital the lawful interests of the Member Hospitals in Kerala.
To maintain the honor and dignity and to uphold the rights of the private hospitals practicing modern medicine in Kerala.
To promote co-operation among the member hospitals.
To promote moral and ethics in the functioning of the Private Hospitals, upholding the nobility of the profession.
To encourage scientific out look and academic atmosphere in Private Hospitals.
To promote the spirit of unity among the members and act as co-ordinating body for the purpose.
To help in safeguarding financial interest of the member hospitals and to render help in protecting their properties.
To work to co-ordinate and to create an atmosphere of co assistance of similar Associations all over India.
To work over come the problems faced by the member hospitals and to attain maximum benefits from the authorities.
